AIBS is pleased to announce that they have announced dates for their 2025 Congressional Visits Day. The event is scheduled for April 28-30, 2025. In conjunction with this program, AIBS is offering their highly acclaimed Communications Boot Camp for Scientists on April 28-29. Any participant who is nominated by BSA will receive a discounted registration for this training. Registration can be completed at: io.aibs.org/cvd. 
 
AIBS also wants to alert you to an opportunity for your graduate student members. AIBS is currently accepting applications for the 2025 Emerging Public Policy Leadership Award. This award recognizes graduate students in the biological sciences who are demonstrating an interest and aptitude for working at the intersection of science and public policy. Winners receive free participation in the April 2025 communications training program and an expense paid trip to Washington, DC for Congressional Visits Day.
